IMCAS congresses strive to provide a unique pedagogical approach, embracing the junctions and differences in dermatology, plastic surgery and aesthetic science. The scientific program is built upon 15 key themes that range from injectables, lasers & EBD, clinical dermatology, face surgery, breast & body surgery, body shaping, peelings, genital treatments to practice management, new technologies and artificial intelligence.
One of the highlights of the scientific program this year is Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and robotics. Advances in diagnostic algorithms, sophistications in surgical robotics, imaging technologies for accurate and affordable scans and other technological developments all serve as examples of the emerging revolution that will change the practice itself. The sessions of this series aim to provide insight into how A.I. and robotics can specifically apply to aesthetics, what technologies are currently available, and what it entails for physicians and patients in their everyday interaction.
Another aspect of the program are the two major LIVE events showcasing a simultaneous transmission and screening of live cadaver dissections alongside live procedures on a patient. The Anatomy on Cadaver Workshop focuses on the anatomy and techniques pertaining to injectables and threads, as well as echographic scanning to avoid danger zones. The Live Aesthetic Surgery Course enables attendees to follow a range of different surgical procedures performed live, juxtaposing with the anatomy of the relevant areas.
The 22nd edition of IMCAS Annual World Congress promises an exhaustive scope of evidence-based educational material as well as fruitful encounters during the exhibition and the social events so that medical professionals may return home with an enhanced skillset and network. Attend to help your practice flourish in 2020!
Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
