1st Annual IOCDF Education Vacation is organized by International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and will be held from Jan 23 - 26, 2020 at San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, San Juan, Puerto Rico, United States of America.
Who Should Attend:
The Education Vacation is a great learning and training opportunity for clinicians of all types at all levels, from students/trainees to seasoned professionals. Fields that may benefit from the Education Vacation include therapists (psychologists, counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, etc.), psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and physicians (general practitioners, pediatricians, family medicine, etc.).
OCD MEETING: The meeting is most appropriate for students/trainees and clinicians in any field who are new to working with OCD and related disorders. The Intro Track will provide an overview of identification, diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of OCD and related disorders to those who may not have had much experience in or exposure to these disorders. Curriculum will cover working with OCD and related disorders across the lifespan, with content for working with adults, pediatric populations, and their families.
MASTER CLINICIAN Series: The series is most appropriate for clinicians in any field with many years of experience in working with OCD and related disorders. The Advanced Track presupposes a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of OCD and related disorders, and will be geared towards experienced professionals who are seeking the latest in research updates and cutting-edge treatment innovations.
The committee will be applying to the APA, NASW, ACCME, and NBCC for 12 CE hours.
The Education Vacation is a destination training opportunity for clinicians in all fields who interact with OCD and related disorders - psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, therapists, social workers, and students/trainees in any relevant field are welcome to attend. The Education Vacation will bring together premier leaders in OCD and related disorders for 4 days of learning, training, networking, and fun in the sun.
Education Vacation attendees will register for one of two tracks - the Intro Track, for those who are new to working with OCD and related disorders, or the Advanced Track, for those with many years of experience in working with OCD and related disorders Each track will have a distinct curriculum and learning objectives, delivered by world-class faculty in 4 half-day sessions.
