Course Description:
The session equips healthcare professionals with up-to-date information on the pros and cons of cannabis inpatient care. Each major discipline will be covered targeting neurology. psychiatry, palliative care, oncology, addiction dental, chronic pain, public health and education in the use of cannabis. We will evaluate the use of cannabis therapeutics in the clinical setting and examine the role of these and other therapies by addressing proper protocol with major advances in both clinical and scientific areas. It is important for physicians and physician-scientists be constantly advised on these latest advancements. The best teachers and clinicians from the Columbia University Irving Medical Center will display the material in the lecture format.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session,  participants will be better able to,
• Know the latest, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for key core competency-based topics in medicine
• Discover the latest knowledge & skills and incorporate them into daily practice
• Make suggestions for optimal management of many common diseases
