This 5-hour training course, accompanying with the online vendor-supplied training, meets the FDA requirements required for physicians to handle automated breast ultrasound.
Automated breast ultrasound was produced especially to support radiologists in the early detection of breast cancer in women with dense breast tissue. Cancers in dense breast tissue can be difficult to identify with mammography – in fact, breast density obscures cancers that screening with automated breast ultrasound may detect.
Automated Breast Ultrasound Workshop 2020 will present guidance on identifying the appearance of normal anatomic structures, benign findings and breast cancer on the individual coronal view, producing a screening workflow, interpretation and reporting process, and pearls and pitfalls for screening breast ultrasound. Additionally, there will be a strong emphasis on quality assurance and quality control.
Note: This course is free for NDIS 2020 full course attendees. Use code NDISFREE20 on the payment page to apply the discount.
