Advanced Practice Providers (APP) Oncology Summit is organized by Horizon CME and will be held from Sep 18 - 19, 2020 at Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.
APP Oncology Summits are developed with and for advanced practice providers including NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and clinical nurse specialists.
As part of the multidisciplinary team in the care of cancer patients, hematology/oncology nurses, students, physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of cancer patients are also welcome to attend.
The Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Upon completion, NPs and RNs will be awarded up to 12.25 contact hours and up to 4.0 pharmacology hours.
This activity has been submitted to the Washington State Pharmacy Association for approval to award up to 12.25 credit hours. Learners must attend all sessions in a Block in order to claim ACPE credit for that Block (see agenda for block schedule). Washington State Pharmacy Association is accredited as an approver of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
In collaboration with HOPA, the session Symptom Management with a Focus on Psychiatric Issues is approved for 1.25 BCOP CE credits.

The APP Oncology Summit is a two-day conference designed to provide advanced practice providers (APPs) with the latest evidenced-based strategies to optimize care and outcomes for patients with cancer. This conference is planned with and for advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurse specialists) and is a collaborative effort of oncology clinicians from multiple organizations in each community.
The APP Oncology Summit offers a unique opportunity for APPs from various healthcare teams in the community to collaborate, learn from each other and national faculty, and share best practices on a range of issues related to the care of cancer patients.
