Description:
This two-day workshop in complex spine surgery starts with afternoon case presentations on Friday, followed by Saturday morning lectures in which internationally renowned faculty present their experience with different techniques for complex spine pathologies. Course participants then go to the Weill Cornell Medical College Anatomy Lab, where they will review the procedures with faculty members and then perform them on the cadavers.

Identified Practice Gaps/Educational Needs:
There is an established gap between spine surgeons’ techniques in the operating room and new advances in technology and practice. One of the greatest obstacles to learning and utilizing new techniques is a surgeon's opportunity to practice and cement a new skillset. This combined lecture and hands-on course is designed to improve skills by demonstrating advanced complex spine surgical techniques in a safe environment. By learning and then practicing complex spine techniques, surgeons will gain an understanding of the latest surgical techniques under the guidance of spine surgery’s foremost experts and pioneers.

Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
