The Aii Annual Conference calls together the best thinking in Native American health and wellness. It's the largest gathering of your peers--people you can relate to, learn from, and stay connected to throughout this year.

From receiving information on model diabetes prevention programs and the opiod crisis in Indian Country to how to plan and implement a health fair to the use of herbal rememdies and a more traditional approach to nutritious meals, this conference is for you!

Five Conference Tracks:
• Physical Health: Health Promotion and Disease Prevention
• Social and Emotional Health
• Substance Misuse Treatment and Prevention
• Spiritual Well-Being
• Art, Culture, and Language Preservation: Strengthening Healthy Tribal Cultures

Aii Conference Perspective:
Health and wellness, both historically and contemporarily, are viewed by Native people from a holistic perspective encompassing all aspects of individuals and communities. Natural elements always play an important role in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health and well-being of Native people. Balance among these different dimensions promotes both prevention and healing. The path to wellness is often referred to as the Red Road – a journey and way to well-being that First Nations people must travel in order to be truly well and healthy. The Aii Annual Conference brings together the best thinking in Native American Health and Wellness who recognize the need for a perspective of strength and resilience on this path or journey. It’s the largest gathering of your peers – people you can relate to, learn from, and stay connected to throughout the year.
