USC Comprehensive Surgical And Restorative Implant Training Program is organized by Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California (USC) and will be held from Jul 27, 2019 - Feb 09, 2020 at Hsinchu, Taiwan, China.

Conference Description:
Dental implants have always been the most predictable way to repair edentulous areas, both functionally and aesthetically. In the field of implant dentistry, many scholars have proposed different patches and implant procedures, but not all viewpoints are supported by scientific literature and statistical data. The long-term success rate of implant-supported sputum complexes must be subject to the following comprehensive conditions: First, select appropriate diagnostic tools, complete risk assessment, complete treatment plan, and then use appropriate surgery and sputum complexes. Reconstruction steps, and finally give a comprehensive and regular return and care. This 16-day course covers complete lectures, hands-on hands-on, on-site (video) surgical demonstrations, and squat reproductions. Whether you are a beginner outside the temple, or an implant dentist who wants to increase your dental success rate and predictability, the educational experience of this course will bring you new and practical results. . 

The Ninth Dental Implants Refresher Course consists of the following sections:
• The 3-stage, 3-day course is held in Hsinchu and includes course explanations and hands-on workshops.
• A 7-day course at the University of Southern California Los Angeles campus:
○ The two-day course is specially tailored for the participants and taught by the USC professor. Experience the actual situation of a well-known American university.
○ In the 2nd day, I participated in the 45th Annual International Periodontal and Implant Symposium and shared the secrets of dental implants with 20 internationally renowned lecturers from all over the world.
• 3 days is a hands-on workshop that can selectively participate in the actual teaching of real human skulls.
• Graduation ceremony and training certificate issued by USC Dental College.

Conceptual topics:
• Biologic basis of Osseointegration
• Anatomy of implant sites and surrounding structures
• Implant surfaces and their effects on outcomest 

Diagnosis and treatment planning:
• Treatment planning & case selection
• Diagnostic imaging: CT scan, cone beam tomography
• Virtual treatment planning: computer-aided implant planning

Surgical guides: conventional and computer-generated surgical guides:
• Surgical placement of implants
○ Surgical considerations and treatment planning
○ Extraction techniques to minimize surgical trauma
○ Socket preservation and augmentation bone grafting
○ Immediate, early or delayed implant placement
○ Implant placement in healed edentulous ridge
○ Single-unit tooth replacement

• Selection and sequencing of implant site development techniques
