Thoracic Pathology: Mayo Clinic Multidisciplinary Workshop 2019 is organized by Mayo Clinic and will be held from Sep 06 - 07, 2019 at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary.
The target audience for this medical event is Residents, pathologists, pulmonologists, radiologists and clinicians with an interest in pulmonary pathology.
This two-day course will provide pathologists, pulmonologists and residents pivotal diagnostic, predictive and prognostic information on lung tumors, many forms of non-neoplastic lung diseases, respiratory cytology, pleuritis, tumors of the pleura, and thymic lesions. The course features two keynote speakers as well as workshops that incorporate attendee submitted case presentations. This will allow for the discussion of clinical and histopathological correlations of interesting and cutting-edge pulmonary pathology cases.
• Develop a more comprehensive interpretation of the diagnostic criteria for interstitial lung diseases.
• Enhance diagnostic skills in classification of tumors of the lung, pleura and thymus.
• Apply current guidelines for appropriate test utilization.
