Soft Tissues and Pink Esthetics in Implant Dentistry is organized by Quintessence Publishing Co, Inc and will be held from Oct 31 - Nov 01, 2019 at Quintessence CE Center, Batavia, Illinois, United States of America. This Conference has been approved for a maximum of 12 hours of continuing education CE credit.
Why is soft tissue the key point when dealing with esthetics in implant dentistry? What is their biological role? The concept of soft-tissue integration is the new challenge in implant dentistry. The knowledge about the dynamics of healing in post-extraction sites recommends avoiding a staged approach with spontaneous healing after tooth extraction. To achieve optimal results clinicians should consider preserving the anatomy of the ridge and the soft tissue contour. During this 2-day workshop different surgical and prosthetic approaches will be discussed for single and multiple tooth rehabilitations. From immediate implant placement to ridge preservation, and horizontal and vertical bone regeneration to soft tissues augmentation. Different sites, different protocols, one goal: predictability.
• Understand the importance of a proper soft-tissue integration to maintain long-term health and esthetics
• Define a clinical decisional tree for the management of the extraction site: when immediate, when Ridge Preservation, when Ridge Augmentation, when delayed with GBR
• Learn the surgical techniques to preserve the original soft tissue contour or to augment the lost peri-implant tissues
Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
