Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a nationally recognized program designed by the American Heart Association (AHA) to aid pediatric healthcare providers in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children.
This two-day course is designed for the healthcare provider who either has never attended a PALS Provider course, would like to enhance knowledge of PALS content and skills, or has an expired PALS card.
The course runs for approximately 15 to 16 hours.
Prior to the course:
The participant is expected to:
• Have current AHA BLS Provider AND current PALS Provider cards;
• Review the AHA PALS Provider Manual;
