Orthopaedic Essentials for the Primary Care Provider 2019
Orthopaedic Essentials for the Primary Care Provider is organized by Penn State University (PSU) College of Medicine Continuing Education and will be held from Jul 19 - 20, 2019 at Hershey Lodge, Hershey, Pennsylvania, United States of America. This Conference has been approved for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
Primary care physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners are welcome to attend this two-day conference in musculoskeletal medicine.
This conference will provide a dynamic and clinically applicable musculoskeletal review of the latest updates on the most common orthopaedic injuries and disorders seen in a primary care setting. Hands-on, small group experiences will allow clinicians to have access to national and international experts in the field of orthopaedics and musculoskeletal medicine. Our goal of this educational activity is to provide all attendees with useful and high impact, evidence-based treatment and diagnostic recommendations in order to improve care.
Upon completion, participation should be able to:
• Expand history taking and physical exam skills when evaluating a patient with a musculoskeletal complaint
• Identify additional testing and treatment of common orthopaedic conditions
• Assess when to treat or when to refer
Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
