Clinical Challenges in EP Practice: Innovations and Solutions 2019 and Beyond is organized by Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education and will be held on May 07, 2019 at InterContinental San Francisco, San Francisco, California, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Cardiac Electrophysiologists and Allied Health Specialists (NPs, Nurses, and PAs). This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 2.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Innovation and research have advanced the field of cardiac electrophysiology. In clinical EP practice, there remain challenges to achieving optimal outcomes in patients with cardiac arrhythmias. This symposium will offer attendees current and innovative approaches to the management of challenging clinical scenarios. The focus is on top practical challenges that clinicians and electrophysiologists encounter in clinical practice. Speakers will utilize lectures and case presentations, which will allow attendees to incorporate the most up-to-date research into their clinical practice.
• Review the indications and efficacy data on new techniques and technologies used to diagnose and manage complex electrophysiology cases
• Describe optimal mapping and ablation techniques for specific arrhythmias and clinical circumstances including atrial and ventricular arrhythmias
• Interpret the clinical utility of the left atrial appendage closure technology based on recent and ongoing clinical trial and registry data with focus on challenging cases
• Discuss the evolving role of His bundle pacing (HBP) for standard permanent pacing as well as for cardiac resynchronization.
