An Introduction to Skull Base Surgery is organized by The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and will be held on Jan 17, 2018 at The Royal Society of Medicine, London, England, United Kingdom. The target audience for this medical event is interdisciplinary, involving maxillofacial, ENT, occuloplastics, plastics and neurosurgeons together with interventional radiologists and oncologists.
This meeting will describe what skull base surgery is as a subspecialty. It promotes as understanding of the interdisciplinary role of the MDT and gives an overview of the history of how it has evolved. The meeting should also provide an understanding of the different pathologies that can be treated and the different techniques that can now be used for treating such pathologies.
