Pediatric Caries Management and Pulp Therapy - Workshop is organized by UCLA School of Dentistry and will be held on May 12, 2018 at UCLA School of Dentistry, Los Angeles, California, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Dentists, Pediatric dentists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 7 CDE Credits.
Pediatric dentists and general dentists alike can benefit from this course. This 7-hour hands-on workshop is for you to learn how to apply the benefits of the glass ionomer cements in your practice and how to restore the primary teeth that most other providers would extract. Extracting the anterior or posterior primary dentition is not always the best option when it can otherwise be restored. You will also develop and improve your skills on how to perform pulp therapy and stainless steel crowns in primary teeth.
Course Objectives are :
• Know how and when to use glass ionomer cements for I.T.R. (Interim Therapeutic Restorations)
• Indirect pulp treatment (IPT) and pulpotomy for primary molars
• Stainless steel crowns for primary molars
