Managing Surgical Pain and the Opioid Crisis is organized by Houston Methodist Institute for Academic Medicine and will be held during Apr 17 - 18, 2018 at Houston Methodist Research Institute, Houston, Texas, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event is surgeons, nurse practitioners, perioperative nurses, and hospital leadership.
This course will help administrators and physicians leaders of healthcare facilities understand how implementation of multimodal pain therapy strategies enhanced recovery pathways for their surgical patients and improve the patient experience while reducing costs. Expert faculty will explain the rational for use of these modalities and share experiences on how they have revolutionized the operative experience for patients. Strategies for implementation and measuring outcome will also be shared.
