AGO Certification Course Gynecological Oncology - Autumn is organized by MedConcept and will be held from Sep 14 - Dec 01, 2018 at Hotel La Strada, Kassel, Hessen, Germany.
The target audience for this medical event is oncologists already working in the clinic or branch as well as physicians in continuing education, who see their field of activity in gynecological oncology and/or intend later to practice aftercare and drug-based tumor therapy. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 50 continuing education credits.
Conference Description :
In hardly any branch of medicine are regular interdisciplinary further education and imparting knowledge about the latest research results on diagnostics and therapy as important as in oncology. In addition, there is the need to train interdisciplinary thinking, to develop team spirit and to cultivate supraregional cooperation. In order to make more effective use of healthcare resources and to provide patients with integrated care, a close integration of outpatient and clinical activities is necessary.
The Association of Gynecological Oncology (AGO), the German Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGGG) and the German Society of Senology (DGS) see a central task in the dissemination of current knowledge and quality control of oncological treatments by focusing on a network of organ- and therapy-specific topics and studies. Experts from the relevant organ commissions of the AGO and NOGGO therefore designed the six-day certification course "Oncological Diagnostics and Therapy", which takes place twice a year in Kassel. Thirty-two experienced and well-known colleagues in 32 thematic units of 60 minutes present the current state of knowledge in the diagnosis and therapy of gynecological tumors. as well as the related disciplines such as radio-oncology, palliative medicine and psycho-oncology. This high level of further education is finally documented - after passing the exam - by a personal specialist certificate.
