The target audience for this medical event for physicians and resident fellows preparing for certifying examinations in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
The Mayo Clinic Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board Review – Online is designed for candidates preparing for certifying and maintenance of certification examinations in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This course is intended to provide a comprehensive review of pediatric rehabilitation and facilitate additional study as needed.
Conference Objectives are :
• Review some of the primary disabilities and disorders frequently seen in a pediatric rehabilitation practice including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophies and neural tube defects.
• Discuss classification and management principles for scoliosis in children and adolescents.
• Identify appropriate strategies for treatment of spasticity in children and adolescents.
