Patient Safety Highlights - Situational Awareness, Crisis Management and Patient Safety in Anesthesia Practice is organized by American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and will be held during Nov 18, 2015 - Nov 17, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event is Anesthesiologists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
This course will discuss the concept of SA in anaesthesia practice and will include a discussion of how SA affects teamwork among anaesthesia providers and the operating room team. Different approaches to SA assessment, factors contributing to expertise in developing enhanced SA, and recognition of errors that occur during the development of SA will be discussed. This lecture presents strategies to improve SA during daily anaesthesia practice that may help improve patient safety.
