• Learn to distinguish a pacemaker from an implanted cardioverter-defibrillator.
• Examine x-ray codes to identify the manufacturer of a cardiac generator.
• Develop a strategy for improving care of patients with a pacemaker or implanted cardioverter-defibrillator.
