Activity Objectives:

Comparison Between 99mTc-Diphosphonate Imaging and MRI With Late Gadolinium Enhancement in Evaluating Cardiac Involvement in Patients With Transthyretin Familial Amyloid Polyneuropathy: Self-Assessment Module is organized by American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and will be held during Feb 22, 2013 - Feb 21, 2019.

The target audience for this medical event is readers of the AJR, radiologists, radiologists-in-training, and other health professionals with an interest in cardiac MRI for the evaluation of infiltrative disease. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).

Conference Objectives are :
• Understand the cardiac imaging features of systemic amyloidosis on delayed contrast-enhanced MRI and 99mTc scintigraphy.
• Understand the strengths and limitations of MRI when compared with 99mTc scintigraphy.
