Dr. Ludwig is a fellow of The Obesity Society and recipient of the E.V. McCollum Award (2008) of the American Society for Nutrition. He is Principal Investigator on numerous grants from the National Institutes of Health, has published over 150 scientific articles, and serves as Contributing Writer for JAMA. Dr. Ludwig is the author of a book on childhood obesity for parents (Ending the Food Fight: Guide Your Child to a Healthy Weight in a Fast Food/Fake Food World Houghton Mifflin, 2007). His latest book, for a general audience, is entitled Always Hungry? Conquer Cravings, Retrain Your Fat Cells, and Lose Weight Permanently (Grand Central Publishing, January 2016). He appears frequently in national print and broadcast media.
Dr. Bonno is board certified in Neurology with subspecialty certifications in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy. She has a special interest in utilizing dietary therapies in adults for the treatment of medically refractory epilepsy and is director of the Adult Dietary Therapy Center at the UR Epilepsy Center. She works closely with a ketogenic dietitian, Leeann Habben, to offer various dietary therapies (including Modified Atkins, low glycemic and classic ketogenic diets) to patients.
In addition to his career and education, Dr. Wolfe has also been published in several medical journals, such as the Journal of Rheumatology, Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism, and the Journal of the American Osteopathic. Dr. Wolfe is also very involved in the medical community. In addition to being a member of the Ohio Association of Rheumatology, he is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Rheumatism Association, the Dayton District Academy of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Arthritis Foundation.
